At the Y, keeping kids safe is our top priority. Drowning is the leading cause of death for children ages 1 to 4, but the good news is? Swim lessons can reduce that risk by nearly 90%.

That’s why we’re proud to join the World’s Largest Swim Lesson — a global event that brings communities together to learn lifesaving swim skills and promote water safety.

This year, we’re hosting the event on June 26 at two locations to make it easy for families to join:

• Ilani Resort Pool (Ridgefield): 12 PM – 2 PM

• Sherwood Family YMCA: 3PM – 5PM
