Got game?

We're a national leader in youth sports with a proven track record of engaging, encouraging and empowering kids. And, that includes basketball.

Hit the hardwood with the folks who invented the game—the Y! Our youth basketball programs are open to kids starting at age 3, with programs and leagues running year round. We encourage fair play, positive competition and family involvement.

Competitive Basketball Leagues

Our YMCA currently has one of the top youth basketball programs in the state at every grade level. YMCA coaches and directors are the best in the business and are dedicated to giving our players tools to be successful on and off the court.

Recreational Basketball Leagues

Dribble, pass and shoot your way to the dream team! YMCA recreational basketball leagues are a perfect introduction for all young basketball players. Players will learn the fundamentals of the game while building on skills like teamwork and sportsmanship without the added pressure of competition.

Volunteer as a Coach

Volunteers are key to a successful sports league. Each season we need volunteers to coach our youth sports teams. Volunteer coaches will typically have one practice per week and games on Saturdays. Coaches are needed most during fall, winter and spring seasons. We need positive role models that can provide a fun and safe atmosphere for the kids.
