We invite our members, family, and friends to a special Watch Party featuring Antoinette Dempsey-Waters, Lead Co-Author of the African American History Curriculum for Virginia. About the Speaker
Antoinette Dempsey-Waters is a distinguished educator and historian with over 20 years of experience. As the Lead Co-Author of the African American History Curriculum for the Commonwealth of Virginia, she has been instrumental in reshaping how inclusive history is taught. Her work focuses on bridging the gap between historical narrative and community empowerment, ensuring the contributions of Black leaders are centered and celebrated to inspire a more equitable society.
