Pedaling for Parkinson’s is an evidence-based indoor cycling program designed to help people with Parkinson’s disease improve mobility. decrease symptom severity and connect with a supportive community. The program is based on research indicating that exercise on a bicycle can reduce symptoms of Parkinson’s.
Participants follow a proven protocol that includes a warmup, 30+ minutes of cycling at a pace that will challenge their comfort zone, and a cool down. Regular participation has been associated with meaningful improvements in motor function and overall well-being, with clinical studies demonstrating symptom reductions of up to 35%. The program is led by trained instructors and grounded in research by Dr. Jay Alberts at The Cleveland Clinic- inspiring participants to pedal with purpose, build confidences and celebrate victories- both on and off the bike.
