We help young athletes reach their personal potential and achieve their athletic goals. Our coaches create workout programs that focus on the individual needs of each athlete. Whether you need help with your shot or your defense, whether you’re a big man or a guard we are confident our trainers will teach skills that give players an advantage on the court. 

Private Training

Step 1 | Purchase your Training for 1–5 Athletes

1 Athlete | Book one person using the online scheduler widget under "Step 2 | Schedule Private Training Sessions."

2-5 Athletes | YMCA does not set up small groups for athletes. Please form your own group and contact Mandy Evans, Program Director to register. 

Private lessons for boys and girls ages 8 and up.

Register and Schedule Your Training

When booking lessons please be sure you are using a desktop (preferably google chrome). Cell Phones do not work when booking on this site. 

Purchase your lesson package first. Lessons will not be considered until a package has been purchased. After purchase, schedule your private training—click Step 2 on the next menu below. 

Step 2 | Schedule Private Training Sessions

You must purchase a lesson before you can schedule a private training session. When you arrive for each lesson you MUST check in at the front desk to redeem your lesson. Please allow 24-48 hours for lessons to be confirmed. 

To book more please be sure you enter client information each time. If client information is not entered your lesson will be declined. 

Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advanced. No shows or late cancellations will be charged for the missed lesson.

Shooting Machine | 30 Minute Sessions

Dr. Dish Shooting Machine is a top of the line basketball training machine designed to increase the productivity of your workout by allowing you to focus on shooting and shooting drills; no need to worry about a rebounder or passer—Dr. Dish does it for you. Dr. Dish tracks your shots, percentage made, provides pre-set workouts and allows you to get up 100's of shots in a short amount of time. Book today and improve your game.

Non Members | $35 or $350 for 10 sessions

Financial Assistance is not eligible to be applied to shooting machine sessions.

Skills Academy

May 6–June 10

Participants will be charged a $40 withdrawal fee, regardless of when the withdrawal takes place.

Skill Development | Open to boys and girls not playing on our Spring Hoop Elite teams and want to develop their basketball skills in the following areas: Shooting, Ball Handling, Offensive Attack Moves, and Basketball IQ. 

Wednesday's | $150

Hoop Skills | For Spring Hoop Elite Players

Participants will be charged a $40 withdrawal fee, regardless of when the withdrawal takes place.

Monday's | $125

Athlete Development 101

Improve power, balance, footwork and performance in your sport. This class will be split into two parts: drills to work on speed, agility, and quickness and exercises to increase strength and power through weightlifting. Strength training is a key component to helping prevent injuring while playing sports.

Off-Season Small Group Training 

Small Group Training | Single Sessions 

Continue to strive for more during the offseason with specialized small group training. Sessions will feature 60 minutes of building basketball drills and IQ with Coach Jared and 30 minutes with Coach Devonte developing your on court presence through speed and agility drills. 

Spring and Summer off-season training dates will posted when the schedule is finalized. 

Cost | $23 per session

There will be no refunds issued for off-season small group training's.
