Practice your game all through the summer at the Beaverton Hoop YMCA. Camp is for athletes in grades 3–8 and offers a great YMCA Basketball experience. Coaches will focus on introducing and building on fundamentals of the game, engaging athletes in high-level play, and educating them on the game skills necessary to improve their game.

Animation is not only fun to watch, it's fun to make! With stop motion animation, everything around you can come alive! In this class we'll explore the basics of animation and work together to develop stories, build props and characters, animate them, and create their very own animate short film!
Dates | Aug. 9–13
Gears. Pulleys. Machines. We'll make cars that move, windmills and more. Camp participants will assemble projects from Lego kits using instruction books.
Dates | Aug. 23–27
Who doesn't love a good snack? Campers will make their own snack portions in fun and creative ways. Recipes may include trail mix, parfaits, or salad on a stick. No food will be shared and each student will have their own station to work on.

2021 Summer Day Camp Information
Camps subject to change based on Oregon State Guidelines for COVID-19.
Campers will need to bring a snack, own lunch and a water bottle. Please provide sunscreen as campers will be outside at times throughout the day.
- Drop Off/Pick Up
Touch-less Drop Off/Pick Up: will be done ‘drive-thru’ style from each family’s car. Please remain in your vehicle and follow the arrows on the attached map. Check-in opens at 8:45 AM. Please pick up by 3 PM. Early drop off or late pickup is not available.
DO NOT ENTER THROUGH THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING. PICK UP AND DROP OFF WILL TAKE PLACE IN BACK LOT BY COURT 6.
- Open Door Program (Access for All)
We believe every child deserves a chance to participate in our programs through our Open Door program, financial assistance is available to both members and non-members. Open Door requests are processed on an ongoing basis.
- Cancellation/Withdraw Information
You may cancel your registration for a full credit if the request is received in writing (via email/mail) two weeks before the start date of the program. Cancellations made within the two-week window will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee with the remaining funds placed as a credit on your account that can be applied to any future YMCA program. All program-specific supply fees are fully non-refundable. No refunds or credits will be provided after the start date of the program.
