Macy's Make Good Cents Campaign

Helping all kids reach their potential

Macy’s recognizes and supports the important work that YMCA Of Columbia-Willamette does every day to help all kids reach their full potential, and now they’re making it even easier for you to do the same. From May 1–22, you can round up to the nearest dollar on your purchase—up to $0.99—at any Macy’s store and they’ll donate your change to support local Y camp scholarships.

80% of the amount raised in this campaign will go to the YMCA Of Columbia-Willamette scholarship fund so help send children to camp. Last year alone, Macy’s provided support to send 8,000 kids to Y camps who otherwise would not have been able to go. The Y is grateful to Macy’s and their customers for helping provide access to positive role-models, critical life-skills, new friends, mentors and support to thousands of kids at the Y!

Thank you to our national partner, Macy's for supporting the YMCA and its mission.

In our 2017 summer overnight camps and day camps, we served more than 4,900 children. Our association provided more than $2 million in financial assistance to 1,143 families. The Macy's make good cents campaign will help more children in Oregon and Washington go to camp and build life-long friendships.
