Fitness Orientation
At the Y, one of our goals is to make sure you are staying safe while working out. The YMCA offers free adult and teen floor orientations for our members so they can become confident in using the selectorized equipment available in the Cardio Theater Area. Our certified Personal Trainers will show you how to set up the equipment, how to select the correct weight and wellness floor etiquette. Most importantly these orientations will help you build your confidence and become the first step for you to reach your fitness goals!
Adult Orientation
Our staff will show you the basics of setting up the equipment and selecting the correct weight to start you off on your health and wellness journey.
Youth Cardio Orientation
This orientation is for ages 8-13 and will teach proper warm up, cool down and stretching as well as use of the cardio machines. Once the training is complete, a record of completion is recorded in the youth's account.
Youth Strength Orientation
This is a 60-minute appointment for ages 12+ that teaches how to use the selectorized strength equipment
