Our Active Older Adults programs help seniors maintain a healthy lifestyle and engaged community. Our programs include healthy eating seminars, group fitness classes and events designed to promote mental agility, good health and independence. Programs are open to all ages. We offer a variety of classes such as Chair Yoga, Functional Fitness, Bible Study, Tai Chi and more.

AOA Group Exercise Classes
Increase muscular strength, range of movement, and balance with hand held weights, elastic tubing, and SilverSneakers® balls. Chairs are used for support.
Jump in for a fun low impact, shallow-water class that improves agility, flexibility and endurance. No swimming ability needed. A SilverSneakers® kickboard or other aquatic equipment is used to improve strength, balance and coordination.
Increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance with a standing circuit workout with a focus on upper body using weights. Chair support can be used ;if needed.
Move through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered so you can perform a variety of seated & standing postures to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement.
Advanced class for active adults. Safe and effective low impact cardiovascular workout. Energizing and easy to follow moves for total body conditioning to increase cardiovascular & muscular endurance. Strength training also offered.
Zumba® Gold is designed to meet the needs of the active older participant, as well as those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle. It's a dance-fitness class set to zesty Latin music, like Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, and Reggaton.
This class is designed to safely lead you through gentle stretches and yoga poses to increase strength, flexibility, and balance. Blocks, straps and other props may be used to modify yoga poses. Students leave class feeling relaxed and renewed.

Senior Wellness Faire
Join us for next year's Senior Wellness Faire on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020, 10 AM–noon. Senior Wellness Faire attendees learn about the opportunities that are available to help prevent disease and injury—improve and enhance the quality of your life. Find inspiration and motivation to be an advocate for your own health and dive into the positive perceptions of aging.
