One of the things that sets the Y apart from other gyms is our variety of group exercise classes offered. We offer many niche formats that appeal to a wide range of people with a range of interests as well as ability levels.

Class Offerings

Ballet Barre

A TYPICAL CLASS

This class increases range of motion, strength and flexibility using exercises based on a traditional ballet class. Low impact and great for very beginners through those with dance experience.

  • Level: Beginning/Intermediate
  • Drop-in Class
  • No registration required
  • For ages 14+

ATTIRE AND WHAT TO BRING

  • Come to class dressed ready to move your body
  • Wear functional workout clothing
  • Ballet shoes preferred, socks are also acceptable

Buti Yoga®

A TYPICAL CLASS

Tribal dance, plyometrics and dynamic yoga. Classes combine cardio, strength training and flexibility in one seamless format set to motivating music.

  • Tighter-fitting, flexible exercise clothing made of breathable material to allow air flow, water bottle

Pre/Post Natal H20

A TYPICAL CLASS

A medically approved program for expecting or new mothers which focuses on stretching, muscle toning and aerobic activities.

  • Level: All
  • Drop-in class

  • Come to class dressed and ready for the pool
  • Proper swim attire is required, no basketball shorts, street clothes, etc.

Ballet Basics

A TYPICAL CLASS

This class uses Ballet movements to increase range of motion, strength, confidence, balance and flexibility. Learn Ballet fundamentals and terminology in this fun, low impact class that is great for very beginners through those with dance experience.
