ONE ON ONE & SMALL GROUP INSTRUCTION FOR OUR MEMBERS

Private and semi-private swim lessons are offered as a benefit to our active YMCA members.  Scheduling is limited based on pool and staff availability.

Private and Semi-Private Swim Lessons

Are you looking for swim lessons for someone who doesn’t quite fit into our group lesson format? We offer private and semi-private lessons for individuals and small groups who need a bit more instructor time. Private lessons are great for older swimmers who need some extra encouragement in the water, swimmers who may have special needs, or swimmers looking to transition to competitive swimming and need some personal attention to fine-tune their technique.

Private and semi-private lessons may not be the best place for younger swimmers who are working on water acclimation or even intermediate swimmers who just need some skill practice. Our group lessons are designed specifically with water acclimation, basic safety and self-rescue, and overall technique in mind. If your swimmer fits into these categories, we have many options available in our group lesson program that may better fit your needs.
