Learn the Ropes

Youth ages 12–13 will be empowered in their wellness journey after three one-hour sessions with a trainer. We cover gym safety and etiquette, heart rate monitoring, and educate in the areas of cardio fitness and strength training with a focus on machines and body weight exercises.. We also demonstrate and practice balance, flexibility and stretching techniques. 

After completion, youth will be allowed on the Healthy Living Floor unaccompanied by a parent or guardian.


What to Expect

Participants should come ready to workout in comfortable gym appropriate clothing and close toed shoes. With COVID-19 protocols, youth must wear a mask while in the facility.
