Sharing Hope with our Neighbors
The Good Friday Breakfast is a blessing to the Portland and Vancouver community from the YMCA of Columbia-Willamette, our event founder Open Arms International and our many sponsors. We spend the morning centered on prayer, encouragement and reflection. The breakfast draws in business and community leaders from the Portland and Vancouver metro area to recognize and celebrate the significance of Good Friday and our Christian heritage.
2019 Keynote Speaker | John O'Leary
John O'Leary lived through worse than most can imagine. At age nine, a fire exploded and burned 100 percent of his body, and he was given a one-percent chance to live—he fought extraordinary odds to survive.
John will share his lessons of a life inspired, and sparks will leap to renew you with hope, purpose, perspective, faith and love. Those sparks will remind you that one person, one action, one word, does indeed make a difference. Sparks liberate you from excuses, destructive cynicism, limiting beliefs, broken relationships and lousy results.
What he knows for certain is you can't always choose the path you walk in life, but you can always choose the manner in which you walk.
Together, we'll stay on fire.
