Question: A fun way to learn about older adult health and wellness?
Answer: What is Older Adult Jeopardy!
Multnomah County Older Adult Behavioral Health team has developed an engaging version of the popular show Jeopardy, using facts about older adult physical and behavioral health. The game takes approximately one hour and will be facilitated by OABHI specialists. Small prizes will be provided to participants and discussion of health topics will be encouraged.
We are excited to be hosting this new way of learning here on Oct. 9 at 11:45 AM in the Teen Center.
The state is investing in senior behavioral health to better meet the needs of older adults and people with disabilities by improving access to care, and by making sure that providers work together to provide coordinated, high-quality physical and behavioral health care.
The goal is improved quality of life for older adults. And over time, through sharing and adoption of best practices, the cost of care will actually be reduced. Visit their website to learn more about OAHBI.
