Lodging & Meeting Spaces

Whether your group is staying overnight with us at Camp Collins, or just needs a place to escape for the day, we have the ultimate meeting place for your organization. The outdoor environment and variety of spaces available will provide the perfect atmosphere to energize and reinvigorate your group.

We also provide flip charts, dry erase boards, DVD player, video projectors with presentation screens and sound systems, and PA system. Just ask to reserve any or all of these when scheduling your group's reservation. We offer hot beverages—coffee, tea and hot chocolate—all day in the Collins Memorial Lodge. 

Adventure Village

Adventure Village (previously known as West Village) is the perfect spot for a group looking for a rustic yet comfortable getaway. Each of the three buildings has a sleeping capacity of 28 people—one side of the building is considered a cabin and sleeps 14. The two cabins are divided by a lofted gathering spot.

A full bathhouse including sinks, toilets and showers is conveniently located in the center of the village. A small leader cabin with sleeping capacity for four is also available with your group's rental of Adventure Village. The full Adventure Village capacity is 88 people.

 

Dining Hall

Meals are served buffet style and, on occasion, family style depending on the nature and size of your group. All meals are served in the Collins Memorial Lodge and you can expect to share this dining space if other groups are in camp. Adequate space has been reserved for your group so please sit at designated tables to ensure enough seating for all. Our Dining Hall can seat up to 320 people at one meal time. 

We do accommodate food allergies and special dietary needs. Please report all food allergies or concerns at least prior to your session, to be accommodated.

Meal Prices

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner | $9.50 per person, per meal—includes all day access to hot and cold beverages.
Snack prices vary from $2–$7 per person and can be delivered to your meeting location.

Health House

The Health House is a comfortable, house-style lodging facility. The Health House features a common living area, a full kitchen, two and a half bathrooms, and five private bedrooms with a maximum sleeping capacity of 16 people. The Health House can be rented for a small retreat or team gathering or in combination  with one of our large villages.

Meals, meeting space and programmed activities are available at an additional cost.

Hearth Room—Collins Memorial Lodge

The gas fireplace in the Hearth Room provides a warm and comfortable spot for lunch meetings or group breakout sessions. This meeting space holds 70–80 people.

Jessie's Lodge

This is a great meeting spot for your group of up to 60 people. The lodge has a great fireplace that adds ambiance to this popular meeting location. Jessie's Lodge is equipped with a full household size kitchen available for your use.

Rotary Village

The original Rotary Village opened in 1956 thanks to funding, materials and hard work provided by the Portland Rotary Foundation. In the summer of 2006 the new Rotary Village opened with six Hobbit-style cabins that include radiant floor heating, carpet and half bathrooms. Each guest will enjoy individual windows and reading lights in their bunk. Each cabin sleeps 14 people. A small cabin with room for two is available to rent with your Rotary cabins. The full Rotary Village capacity is 86 people.

Rusty’s Red Bird Lodge

Rusty’s Red Bird Lodge offers a great location for large group gatherings. The Main gathering space will accommodate up to 250 people and offers high quality A/V capabilities. The East Room can accommodate up to 50 people and has great views of the trees and the climbing tower.  The West Room can accommodate up to 30 people.  Additional amenities include tables and chairs and service counters for beverage and snack service.

Sun Room—Collins Memorial Lodge

The Sun Room is a wonderful spot for lunch meetings or group breakout sessions. This meeting space seats 70–80 people.

Treetops Village

Treetops Village opened in June of 2004. Each of the six cabins is connected by a beautiful bridge and deck system that looks out into the forest. Each cabin in Treetops Village has 14 beds. Each of the beds has its own window and a bunk light. The cabins have half-bathrooms, a drying area in the entrance, as well as carpeted and radiant heated floors. A small leader cabin with room for two is also available with your group's rental of Treetops Cabins. the full Treetops Village capacity is 86 people.

Outdoor Spaces

Guests may also enjoy activities on their own, such as mountain biking, bouldering wall, Ga Ga Ball, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, hiking trails, beach play, a Camp Store and much more when you visit us.

Main Capfire

Main Campfire offers a fabulous location for skits, sing-a-longs and presentations. This outdoor amphitheater comes equipped with seating for 250 people, two fire pits and a spacious stage with lighting.

West Campfire

West Campfire provides a great outdoor location for gatherings, presentations, meetings and inspirational or keynote speakers. Our stage, equipped with lighting, bench seating for 70 people and fire pit make this amphitheater a wonderful spot for evening skits and sing-a-longs as well.

 

Shaw Chapel

The Shaw Chapel provides the perfect spot for peaceful gatherings. You can hear the Sandy River gently flowing behind you in this tranquil, outdoor meeting location.

Programmed Activities

We offer a variety of recreational opportunities for your group to engage in during their stay. Participation in these unique programmed activities must be arranged prior to arrival and require completion of an Camp Collins Agreement to Participate form by all participants. Additional charges apply. Some activities have age, group size and time limitations.

Challenge Course

We partnered with Synergo to provide the best challenge course and team building experience for your school or organization. Whether your group would like to focus on getting to know each other better, enhancing communication, building trust or just needs to be re-energized, we have the program for you. Each session can be tailored to your group's particular needs to assure the creation of a strong, healthy and productive team.
YMCA Camp Collins and Synergo offer a wide variety of team initiatives through the use of challenge course elements. This experiential learning environment promises to facilitate lessons that are learned for life.

All of Synergo's facilitators are trained to the standards set by the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT). The combination of incredible elements and strong facilitation provides the perfect atmosphere for learning, bonding and fun.
